Please find attached a copy of my CV for your consideration. I am an excellent candidate for this vacancy as it closely matches my skills and experience.

I started my career in the Post Room/Maintenance/Front of House, moving into the Facilities Office team eventually managing the Help Desk, before finally entering Spaceplanning/Office Moves.
I have 20 years experience in Spaceplanning/Office Moves/Furniture relocation/Build & Demolition, implementing many of the systems and guidelines still in use within two of the worlds leading companies, Arthur Andersen & Linklaters.
As part of the Building Management team at Linklaters (UK Spaceplanner) I controlled 500,000 sqft comprising 3,000 staff over 4 buildings in London and Colchester.
Organised over 2000 staff moves per year, including the 'completely manic' twice yearly 'trainee/qualifier seat move'.
Kept and updated all building drawings 40 in total.
Liaised with various Councils/Organisations on boundaries, leases, on 1 Silk St and Colchester office & warehouse.
Ensuring all dept boundaries are correct and producing plans every 6 months or after changes to ensure accurate information for Space Recharge
Feasibility studies/Surveys/Forward planning.
Office Moves: Partners & Staff, Furniture, Office Layouts, Filerooms, Libraries, DataCentres, CopyCentres, Computer Rooms, Gyms
Produced Schedules, Existing & Proposed drawings (highlighting changes) To-From lists, timetables.
Held Weekly Project Meetings, attended by all depts involved in any project for, the facilities moves team, IT, post room, security, any external contractors and the group secretary/s of the depts concerned.
Maintenance: Produced schedules, both High Level for Partner/Manager level and detailed versions for maintenance staff and contractors.
Part of Strategic Planning team; Partners, Managers, HR, Building services, discuss and plan medium and long term staff changes and get my input on best way to implement them.
Any other ad hoc jobs that came my way, internal exhibitions, conferences, advising partners, helping clients (normally charities) etc.
PC Skills: Autocad; CAFM; Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook; Adobe Photoshop & Pagemaker.
I have built up a complete range of Facilities knowledge whilst completing hundreds of successful projects/office moves and gaining enough experience to enable me to continue my career in similar roles.
