Your new role
This is a specialist role which requires previous work experience as an Activities Coordinator. You’ll be arranging a timetable of activities for residents. You’ll be hands on and responsible for implementing these activities. Liaising with management with respect to allocating staff assistant in activities and daily services. You’ll be responsible for arranging outings and guest speakers. Provide assistant in planning special events (i.e. Garden parties, fashion shows, etc.). This is a very hands on role which will required excellent organisation, time management and communication skills. Note: this is has the option to go part-time or full-time work.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience as an activities coordinator for a care home. My client is looking for individuals with 3-5 years experience. Knowledge of CQC standards and policies. Experience in risk assessments and planning/coordinating events.
