Your new company
Our client in the heart of Dorset, provide fantastic Care and Support for Vulnerable Children between the ages of 7-19, with Autism and complex needs. Based close to the sea, the children here benefit from large grounds and plenty of outdoor space, as well as 24 hour support from staff.
Your new role
Night Support Workers will be working primarily in the Residential area, to provide guidance and support for the children. You will be required to provide both emotional and physical support, to maintain a happy, stable environment for the children at all times. You will work a variable pattern of 12 hour shifts, of up to 40 hours per week full time, or a minimum of 16 hours per week part time.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will already have 1 year of experience in a Support Work role with vulnerable children. A Driving Licence and access to a care are desirable due to the large grounds, however it is not essential.
What you'll get in return
In return, Support Workers receive flexible working hours with every other weekend off, as well as training and support to obtain a QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare. Furthermore you will have access to a free shuttle bus to help you get to work, with various pick up points around Bournemouth and Poole.
