A leading college for people with Learning disabilities and complex needs are looking for a Support worker

Your new company
This is one of the leading colleges for in the country for people with Learning disabilities and other complex needs, founded in 1967 the charity continues to pave the way and set the bar for education and care. The impressive campus in picturesque countryside boasts a golf course, bistro, Hydrotherapy pool and beautiful residential houses.

Your new role
Your new job is arguably one of the most rewarding jobs you could have, as a Support worker you will play a vital role in assisting students at the college. You will help with a huge range of needs the students have on a daily basis, ranging from personal care, support in moving around campus, emotional support and helping the students access the community.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience of working with people who have some form of disability, ideally you will be NVQ qualified, although this is not essential. Most important though is a desire and passion to make a difference in peoples lives. The college has been rated as Outstanding by OFSTED and you will need to adopt the high standard of work the college insists on.
