Adult Support Worker required for immediate start in Warwick, working with adults with LD, full time hours

Your new company
Hays are working with a local charitable organisation that provide support to adults with learning difficulties. They aim to provide a person centred care service for people in the community. They are looking for experienced support workers to join their team on a temporary basis with a view to be taken onto a permanent contract after 3 months.

Your new role
In your new role as a support worker you will be working with people from 18 years of age who have learning, disabilities, mental health issues and those that require 24 hour care. You will be there to provide ongoing and consistent support where the needs of the service user will be put first. You will be responsible for creating engaging activities and supporting individual in the community, you will be responsible for elements of personal care including hygiene and meal times. You will be expected to work on a shift basis including evenings and weekends.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this rewarding role as an adult support worker you will need to hold a level 2 qualification within health and social care and have recent experience working with adults with LD. You will need to be able to work full time hours including evenings and weekends. It is essential that you have your own transport or be able to travel as some of the settings aren't on public transport routes.
