An exciting job for a Registered children's home manager in Gloucestershire to run a new home. £40k - £45k.

Your new role
Working for a local authority as a Registered manager on an incredible exciting project, for many years this council have outsourced their children's services to the third sector, until now. A new project and home is being developed to look after children who are currently failing in their current placements, the aim will be to provide short but intensive therapeutic care to children to return them to their original setting. Your job as the Registered manager is to ensure the safe and effective running of the home, as the manager you will lead an experienced staff team delivering the therapeutic care that is needed for the children to achieve the right outcomes. Managing the home to achieve the right OFSTED results is also a key part of the role and ensuring you are continuously striving to develop the team in their own careers.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have some experience of managing a similar setting previously, ideally with a good understanding of a therapeutic care model. A good track record in OFSTED management, staff management, and NVQ level 5 in Health and Social care or equivalent and a full driving licence.

What you'll get in return
A starting salary of £40k - £45k a year, company pension, child care vouchers, local shop discounts, fantastic career progression, minimum of 24.5 days annual leave per annum (pro-rata for reduced hours), rising to 29.5 days after five years (plus public and bank holidays). with the opportunity to purchase up to 10 days additional annual leave each year, there is usually flexibility to vary your daily start and finish times, and to take advantage of mobile working in some cases, child care vouchers and local shop discounts.
