Residential Support Worker, Birmingham City Council, £9.47 per hour, Birmingham

Your new company
Hays are currently recruiting Children’s Residential Support Workers on behalf of Birmingham City Council. You have the opportunity to work within a number of Residential homes across Birmingham suitable to you and your flexibility. We offer hours and locations to suit you.

Your new role
Your new position as a Residential Support worker for Birmingham City Council will be supporting Children and Young people across homes. You are to give excellent care and support to everyone involved.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful every applicant MUST have a Level 3 Diploma OR NVQ Level 3 in the Children and Young Peoples Workforce. We unfortunately are not able to take your application any further if you do not obtain this qualification at grade Level 3 or higher. You MUST also have minimum 6 months experience working in a similar setting. Please note some aspects of personal care will be required where necessary so you must be comfortable with carrying out such duties to ensure Children and fully looked after against local authority guidelines.
