Your new company
My client is an experienced provider of residential services to adults with complex needs and learning difficulties. They strongly believe that through the right support and care planning the service users can reach their full potential. That is why clients in their care have access to skills training, education and work based activities whilst creating a safe and homely environment for them to live in. They are now looking for a Support Worker in New Milton to join their established team.

Your new role
As a Support Worker you will be providing emotional and physical support to clients in care. This will include some aspects of personal care with ongoing encouragement for independence, supporting with daily chores and organised activities and teaching them the necessary life skills such as budgeting. Support Worker will follow care plans that are in place and liaise with the management and healthcare professionals about the care package given.

What you'll need to succeed
Compassion and caring nature are essential for this role. No day will be the same therefore flexibility and adaptability to changing situation is key. Successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar setting and be ideally trained to NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Due to the location of the role driving license and access to a car are desired from all applicants.
