Comfort Care Services, founded in 1985, specialises in providing supported housing for individuals with mental health needs, challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, and recovering from substance and alcohol misuse. Small, quality units, decorated to a high standard, located near to good local amenities, form a solid foundation from which we can help our service users rebuild their lives.
Using a client-centred approach, we continuously strive to achieve a positive long-term outcome for our service users through accessing other services, and working closely with other professionals and families, where appropriate.
Services
Comfort Care works with Social Services, Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) and Supporting People within leading local authorities across London and the South of England offering high quality supported housing for vulnerable adults who are:
- aged between18-70 with recognised mental health needs and learning disabilities
- ready to be discharged from psychiatric wards
- private referrals from GPs
- recovering from drugs and alcohol misuse
To prepare our service users towards independent living for the future, Comfort Care has a holistic approach which involves social workers, psychiatrists, GPs, care workers, advocates and their extended families.
Specifically, the services we offer through qualified and experienced staff, cover high, medium and floating (low level) support needs, from 24 hours a day to one hour a week.
We have expert counsellors attached to our services who we can call upon for further expert counselling and advice.
