Creative Support is a vibrant not-for-profit organisation with a strong ethos of providing person centred services. We have a track record in providing specialist supported living and other services within the community in 31 local authorities in the North West, North East and Midlands. We currently provide a wide range of services for people with mental health needs and learning disabilities. These include supported living services, residential care, community support and specialist outreach services. We are committed to working within the policy principles of the National Service Framework for mental health and the government's vision for learning disability services as outlined in Valuing People. Creative Support currently employs over 1,600 staff, and our staff team reflects the ethnic and cultural diversity of our service users. All staff take part in a five day company induction programme and enjoy on-going training relevant to their specific needs. We are EdExcel accredited to deliver NVQ's and we are able to offer the full range of NVQ's from level 2 to level 4. All new Support Workers undertake NVQ Level 2 to enable the agency to meet National Care Standards. We are registered with the Open College to deliver LDAF awards for staff working with people with learning disabilities.
