The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT) was established in 1991 as a not for profit charitable trust. It is the second largest not for profit care provider in the UK, currently operating 74 homes in four counties (Lincolnshire - 16; Wiltshire - 20; Oxfordshire - 17 and Gloucestershire - 21). It is responsible for the care of some 3,300 residents and employs c. 3,500 staff. We deliver a broad range of care services, including residential, nursing and dementia care. We also provide intermediate, respite and day care. The scope of care delivery is kept under constant review so that the changing requirements of both the people for whom we care and our commissioning partners are appropriately catered for. This is reflected in the Trust's new homes development programme and the training given to its staff. The Trust is sponsored by two Orders - the Sovereign Military and Hospitaller Order of Jerusalem, Rhodes & Malta and the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem. Between them, these two Orders bring a combined total of over 1,000 years of experience in care, relief and service. Today, they provide the Trustees for The Orders of St John Care Trust.
