Redbridge Community Housing consists of over 30 homes situated within North East London and County of Essex. Our service users may be elderly, have learning/physical disabilities or mental health issues. Our aim is to support managers and staff in many aspects of their working life with RCHL, from recruitment through to possible promotion, providing training along the way as well as giving advice on the various issues faced by staff. We strive to give job satisfaction and are committed to training our staff to attain the highest level of achievement. The majority of careers within RCHL support and empower service users within the community. In more formal terms, as part of the corporate objectives for RCHL, the role of the Human Resources Service function has been described as follows: 'To recruit, retain, motivate and develop high quality employees, who are committed to consistently achieving or exceeding our core values and standards'. The recruitment and selection process forms a vital and major part of our work that has to be undertaken fairly and to best practice standards if we - the organisation are to recruit the best people for our Schemes.
