Be A Local Hero People who have sight and hearing difficulties face huge challenges every day. And yet, given the right services and support, each individual can develop their talents and choose how they wish to live their lives. Sense is the UK's largest organisation for adults who are deaf, blind or have associated disabilities. We also work with people with single sensory impairments and a wide range of other difficulties - including physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour. Sense has set up services where they are needed, campaigned for change, and built a worldwide reputation for its pioneering work. But it hasn't stopped there. As people's needs have changed, so Sense has adapted to meet these needs, offering quality services that place the individual, and their family, at the heart of all that we do. Our services- Offer a flexible person-centred approach.
