A residential family centre in Cheshire is seeking a permanent manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced children and families worker with previous management experience looking to work in a residential management post. It is essential for this post that the applicant holds a management qualification and has previous children & families experience and is a qualified social worker registered with the GSCC to practice social work in the UK. Experience of dealing with placement plans, OFSTED regulations and previous management experience would be of benefit. Based near Manchester, the successful applicant will be drawing up rosters, monitoring and safeguarding children, assessing families, making care and placement plans and managing a small team. The role offers a competitive salary and attractive benefits package.
