Supported Housing Manager, Project Manager, Supported Housing, 3 Month Temporary Contract

You will be joining an established housing association in South Wales. You will be joining an association in charge of over 5000 homes, providing expert housing advice and support within Carmarthen.
Your new role
As a project manager you will take responsibility as Registered Manager to manage all aspects in the day to day running of the organisations supported homes. You will promote a caring environment which provides residents with a high standard of appropriate support, meeting individual needs and ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity and rights to privacy. You will advocate independence working with service users with mental health backgrounds engaging them with the community and supporting them with aspects of daily living. As a project manager you will supervise, monitor and evaluate the support delivered to residents, line managing support workers and senior support workers within the homes. You will also be responsible for checking legal requirements are met alongside the high levels expected within the organisation. As a project manager you will ensure the day to day management of the homes is maintained in an efficient and accurate manner taking a lead on budget control, introducing new residents, ordering repairs to buildings, production of statistical information, and other administrative duties, maintaining household standards, report writing etc to ensure the smooth running of the Project.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful as a project manager you must have working knowledge within supported housing at management level. You must have empathy with understanding of the needs of residents with mental health issues, be willing to help and have strong knowledge of services available to people with mental health issues.
Understanding of relevant legislation and regulation is essential to this role. You must be able to drive and have an in date DBS check or provide the documents in order to produce a DBS on your behalf. Furthermore to be successful within this role you must have strong management skills and be able to lead a team within the supported housing environment.
