Your new company
You will be working for a housing organisation that is experiencing rapid growth. The organisation aim to promote independent living throughout their services, providing necessary support to their vulnerable young service users aged between 16 and 25.
Your new role
You will be working as a Support Team Leader, ensuring all service users are safeguarded to the required level at all times, taking appropriate steps and actions in relation to any concerns that may arise. You will supervise a team of support workers, overlooking their performance, ensuring they are meeting the required standard the service users need, and protocol is being adhered to. The role will be mainly office based, and you will be the first port of call to the support workers, providing necessary advice to any incidents that may occur. You will however be required to attend the managed homes in the event that a support or key worker requires assistance. Due to the nature of this role, it is required that you are able to drive. The role will involve an aspect of support, admin and management
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced professional within social housing, supported housing, social care, or young peoples residential services, and have some experience of line management. This can be through either senior support experience, team leader or management positions. You will be knowledgeable on creating and implementing support plans, completing risk assessments and liaising with external agencies.
