Support Worker needed in Cardiff to provide support to young people with mental health backgrounds

Your new company

You will be working in a supported housing organisation who provides support to service users with complex needs, encouraging them towards independence and helping with the local community.

Your new role

As a support worker you will be working with young people aged 16 - 25 with mental health backgrounds promoting independence. As a support worker you will provide a person centred support plan to promote community engagement. As a support worker you will provide support advice, finding solutions to issues and developing their strengths and emotional resilience. As a support worker you will providing support on housing benefits and welfare encouraging service users to move on towards independence.

What you'll need to succeed

To be a successful support worker you will be must have working knowledge in supported housing, being able to carry out support plans and housing advice. You must have experience in working with young people and knowledge of the issues that may be affecting them.
