 |  | To provide an efficient and effective Human Resources administration service to customers from across the business.
General HR Responsibilities:
Follow standard team processes, working co-operatively with the team to deliver an excellent administrative service to the customer so that their expectations are met or exceeded. Attend regular team meetings with colleagues to share information and learning, contribute to continually improving services and achieve consistency of delivery. Investigate and seek to resolve customer complaints providing advice or escalating the complaint appropriately. Carry out a range of other tasks, which support the team including word processing, taking messages, arranging meetings, filing, photocopying, maintaining and ordering stocks of stationery, opening, sorting and responding to mail. Produce reports as necessary from the relevant systems so that service performance can be monitored and improved.
Human Resources Responsibilities:
Act as a key point of contact for human resource teams, line managers and employees to resolve basic human resource related queries. Advise managers and employees on routine HR issues/processes such as maternity leave and terms and conditions of employment. Refer non-routine issues to the relevant HR Adviser where appropriate. Update and maintain manual/computerised employee records. Ensure timely and accurate input of all data onto the HR system. Produce amendments to contracts of employment and deal with leavers and accompanying administration promptly. Assist with new starter administration when required. Administration of Fleet Management.
Candidates must have previous administration experience, experience of HR administration would be an advantage. Candidates must also be a proficient user of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and have the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands effectively.
