Youth Worker

We are currently recruiting for an experienced youth worker, with or without qualification, to work in a busy YOT team based in South West London.

You will have experience working within a team supporting youth offenders between the ages of 10 and 17 years old, with preferably some experience working closely with care leavers.

One of the main roles will involve working with people who are identified or at risk of being radicalised. You will be involved in outreach resettlement, aftercare duties and will be responsible for motivating and encouraging young people to attend resettlement sessions and reviews. You will be expected to promote integration within the wider community. You will also be required to document attendance and gaps in service.

This role will require an excellent communicator who is able to liaise with multidisciplinary agencies to effectively address issues affecting young people. You will also be required to be build rapport with young people and offer them advise and support.
