Specialist Support Officer job based in North London offering a competitive annual salary

Your new company
You will be working for a leading provider of housing, care and support services based in London and the South East. They are currently recruiting for a Specialist Support Officer to provide psychological insight into the daily lives our consumers.

Your new role
As a Specialist Support Officer you will be responsible to provide psychological insight on three different levels which you will be providing 121 support as well as providing training to the team and facilitating case management meetings using psychological informed formulations and methodology. You will also be providing internal training and delivering reflective practice across the mental health division and be liaising with stakeholders and services, informing service level agreements with key mental health partners.

What you'll need to succeed
As a Specialist Support Officer it is essential that you hold relevant qualifications that enable you to provide psychologically informed practice or drug and alcohol specialist support. Also you will need to have previous experience working with vulnerable adults and the understanding of safeguarding practices. Furthermore, you will need to have a good working knowledge and understanding of up to date legislation. Lastly, to be sufficient at using Microsoft packages and excellent team work skills, demonstrating both collaboration and respect with peers and customers.
