Young Person Support Worker

I am currently recruiting for a role to work for an established provider of care and support to children and young people with Autism, ASD, Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, EBD.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the day to day living skills and working with young people to maximise every day life. In this particular role you will assist with personal care, preparing food, playing and arranging activities with the young people, taking them to school and other appointments.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will possess an NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care or Children and Young People or will be willing to work towards level 3 qualification while in post.
You should have previous experience within the care sector, ideally within residential care for children and young people or with adults with learning disabilities or complex needs. Further on the job support and training will be offered to all Support Workers including induction, mandatory training and further career development. You must be flexible with working hours and available to work shift on a rota basis including weekends and bank holidays. A driving license is desirable for this role.
