A Social Services Officer is required to work in a hospital environment to carry out initial assessment of patients admitted.In this role as a Social Services Officer, you will be required to make initial assesments of patients and make onward referrals.In the position of Social Services Officer you will work in the Hospital Social Work Team, in a multi disciplinary role on the wards, assessing patients' needs and making onward referralsThis role requires excellent interpersonal skills. Especially important is the ability to communicate effectively verbally, and through written word.
